Comments This work can be performed alone or with Cage's Concert for Piano and Orchestra (EP 6705a-n), Fontana Mix (EP 6712), or Cartridge Music (EP 6703). This is a composition indeterminate of its performance. Some of the material consists of transparencies, which, by superimposing, singers (or a single singer) create(s) a program of the desired time-length. The work may be performed as a solo or with one or more parts from the Concert for Piano and Orchestra, with Fontana Mix, Cartridge Music, or Song Books. The material of Solo for Voice 2 was also used for the composition of Solo for Voice 45 from Song Books. |
