Comments Portions of this work were later used as music for the choreographed piece by Merce Cunningham entitled Minutiae, with stage decors and costume design by Robert Rauschenberg and Remy Charlip. This score consists of 4 pages of music, each divided by irregular strokes with groups of notes. Dynamics are left to the performer. Tone production was determined using chance operations, the notes themselves by imperfections found on the paper on which the work was composed. |
